A Man Discovers A Baby Deer In The Middle Of A Lake And Returns It To Its Mother

Sport fishing is a huge passion for Justin Royal. When he went offshore to capture the large fish one day, it wasn’t anything he expected to come into his net.

On Lake Travis in Austin, Texas, the guy was fishing when he noticed a little critter struggling to swim to shore.

He noticed it was a distressed newborn deer when he drew closer. Justin realized the poor tiny deer wouldn’t make it to shore, so he leapt into action right once, determined to reunite the fawn with its family.

The good Samaritans captured the dramatic rescue on tape in a now-viral video. The young deer was apparently spooked by a dog, which caused it to get anxious and jump into the lake in a frantic attempt to cross to the other side.

Fortunately, Justin was present during the entire incident and rushed into action to save the juvenile deer.

After a few seconds, the nice guy approached the deer, grabbed it, and sailed away with it in his boat. Because the young one appears to be terrified and exhausted, Justin places it on the boat to rest for a while.

The man may be heard stating, “Poor creature is weary.” “She wasn’t going to be able to make it much longer.” Fortunately, the little creature is now safe and on its way to rejoin with its mother.

“Don’t worry, baby doll,” Justin assured her.

The deer seemed to regain her strength once they arrived at the beach, but her savior understood she needed more time to heal.

As a result, he returned the poor creature to his house and cared for her. After a few hours of recuperation, the guy realized he had to take the deer back to the same area where he had fled for its life.

Justin was certain that the little girl’s mother would come looking for her in the same area where she had gone missing.
