The Wells Maine police department received a number of calls from worried locals, reporting that a curious dog, a husky-cross breed, was stuck on a roof.
One of the firefighters climbed up on the roof where he was met by the pooch.
The dog gave some kisses as a thank you as the firefighters helped get the confused pooch safely back inside.
‘Thank you kisses to Captain Nawfel! It’s pawsatively love! Is there anything more stunning than an animal expressing gratitude?!’ reads the caption the police department gave the photo.
