Kylie Jenner and Timothee Chalamet are enjoying a ‘casual romance’ after being spotted on a taco date days before despite the make-up mogul’s solo Coachella trip.

The 25-year-old star of The Kardashians and 27-year-old Call Me By Your Name star are seeing each other but not completely serious according to a source for Entertainment Tonight on Monday.

They are keeping things casual at this point as an insider for the publication said: ‘It’s not serious, but Kylie is enjoying hanging out with Timothee and seeing where it goes.

‘It’s been really fun for her because it feels a lot different than her past relationships. It’s new and exciting for Kylie and she’s having a lot of fun.’

DailyMail.com has reached out to reps for both Kylie and Timothee and has yet to hear back.

Over the weekend Kylie was seen hitting up Coachella to see sister Kendall Jenner’s new beau Bad Bunny perform where he was the Friday night headliner but Timothee was nowhere to be seen.

The source explained: ‘Kylie decided she didn’t want to make things public with Timothee this past weekend at Coachella and really just wanted to chill and have fun with her friends.’

It has also been revealed that it may actually have been Kylie’s 27-year-old model sister who played matchmaker.

The insider told ET: ‘Timothee is also friends with Kendall so it’s been easy for Kylie to integrate him into her life.’

This comes days after the potential power couple met up for a secret date night in Los Angeles at Tito’s Taco stand last week, just days after she was seen parking in the driveway of his Beverly Hills home.

After attending an art show in Santa Monica, an eyewitness told DailyMail.com that the actor, who rocked a bright orange jacket, white baseball cap and a black face mask, emerged from the event ‘looking around anxiously’ while ‘texting constantly on his phone.’

Within seconds of him walking ‘in the middle of the street seemingly waiting for an arrival,’ the makeup mogul, 25, ‘pulled up in her custom Extended Lincoln Navigator, with security in the front seats.’

As he ducked into the backseat, the mother-of-two, who split from rapper Travis Scott in January, sat by his side, while one of her body guards hopped into his Escalade and followed closely behind their SUV.

Maintaining their privacy seemed to be of the utmost importance as they hid behind tinted windows and did not come out of the car.

The two remained in Jenner’s vehicle as her team took their orders from the back seat, before delivering the food back to the car.

Her protection detail stood outside of the truck to give the reality star a little privacy for about 30 minutes,  before they ‘drove off into the night.’

This marks just one of their clandestine meetings ahead of her visit to his $11 million mansion, which sits about an hour away from Jenner’s lavish $36.5million Holmby Hills estate.

They became the topic of relationship rumors earlier this month after a tipster claimed to the gossip blog DeuxMoi that they’ve been secretly dating since January.

She split from her baby daddy Travis Scott, 31, ahead of the New Year after dating on/off since 2017.

The former couple share two children: daughter Stormi, five, and son Aire, one.

Meanwhile, Chalamet has enjoyed a number of high-profile romances over the years with the likes of Eiza Gonzalez, Lily-Rose Depp and Madonna’s daughter Lourdes Leon.

Another wrote in that they ‘heard they are both going to be at Coachella’ to which another follower responded: ‘I can 100% confirm that.’

The rumored romance is said to have begun after the pair attended the same Jean-Paul Gaultier fashion show in January.

They also attended the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in March, but they were not photographed together.

The news of the unlikely couple’s alleged new romance sent fans into a tailspin on social media, with one writing: ‘The streets are saying timothee chalamet and kylie jenner are dating … the jenners are collecting my men like pokemons, signing OFF.’

Adding further fuel to the fire, a widely-circulated snap on social media shows Jenner and Chalamet sharing a sweet smile together at the show in January.

Jenner and her ex Travis Scott called it quits from the second time this past December, just two years after rekindling their romance during the COVID-19 pandemic.

At the time, a source told Us Weekly: ‘Kylie and Travis are off again’ and ‘were supposed to spend the holidays together.’

However, the beauty mogul notably whisked herself away to Aspen for the New Year to join her sister, Kendall Jenner, and a few close friends, such as Hailey Bieber and her husband Justin Bieber.

She also brought along her and Scott’s daughter Stormi, on the snowy getaway.

‘This has happened so many times before, they’re known to be on again off again, but always remain friends and great co-parents,’ the magazine’s insider added.

The media star and singer additionally were not in attendance at the Kardashian-Jenner annual Christmas bash together last month in December.

However, earlier that same month before the holiday season officially kicked off, the businesswoman was spotted in Miami alongside other family members, such as Kim and Khloe Kardashian, as they stopped by Wayne and Cynthia Boich’s party during Art Basel Miami where both Travis and renowned rapper, 50 Cent, performed on stage.

During the star-studded gathering, Jenner and Scott were seen sharing an affectionate moment, including an embrace as she supported the Goosebumps hitmaker.

The pair had initially made the decision to spend time apart in October 2019 after falling in love at Coachella in April 2017 and welcoming their eldest child Stormi in February 2018.

Following their separation, the stars still remained close, and quarantined together during the COVID pandemic.

They eventually made the decision to get back together in late 2020 and went on to welcome their second child, son Aire, in February 2022.
