According to a report from Fichajes, Dusan Vlahovic is unhappy at Serie A club Juventus. And the 22-year-old Serbian international has offered himself to Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Carlo Ancelotti could definitely use more depth in the attacking department. And it will be interesting to see if Real Madrid decide to make a move for the Juventus striker at the end of the season. The Italian giants paid €70 million to sign the player from fellow Serie A club Fiorentina. But things have not gone according to plan for either party.
While Vlahovic has not been a poor signing, he has failed to live up to the expectations and justify the transfer outlay. The 22-year-old has seven goals and two assists to his name across all competitions. And he has the potential to develop into a world-class striker.
With Karim Benzema in his twilight years, Real Madrid will have to plan for the future. And Vlahovic could prove to be a solid long-term acquisition. In the short term, the 22-year-old could share the goal-scoring burden alongside the Frenchman.
