As it emerges from its egg, this lovely new๐๐จ๐ซ๐ง turtle looks to be in a pleasant mood.
When this small turtle pushed its head out of its eggshell for the first time and looked to grin as it viewed the outside world for the first time, it was a lovely moment.
After spending months observing the eggs heโd discovered in his patio, Alessio Caria, an Italian photographer, was pleased to see such a momentous event two weeks ago.
He learned he had unwittingly acquired a pair of slow-footed tortoises after spending so much time in the outdoors. Piccola Magia, which means โsmall magic,โ is the name he gave to his turtle.
โI have these tortoises in the back, and I almost feel like Iโm developing and caring for them all because I keep an eye on them.โ โ Alessio, a Sardinian Italian.
โI believe the shot is unique because I donโt believe many people have ever seen a turtle emerge from its egg โ itโs an incredible sight.โ
Since buying his first camera in 2013, the government employee has spent around ยฃ4,000 on photography. He has no regrets because it allows him to pursue his lifelong passion for the outdoors.
โI became a photographer later in life, but Iโve always appreciated nature photography and thought Iโd like to create the same thrilling and emotive images.โ
โI fumbled around for approximately 10 minutes trying to figure out the depth of focus.โ But itโs all part of the learning process.
โAfter ten hours of waiting, you may snap one shot or a hundred shots in a matter of minutes.โ In wildlife photography, nothing is certain; itโs all an adventure.
