The very definition of an ideal athlete is LeBron James. He has worked hard to set an example during his whole career, conscious of the enormous influence he has.
One of the most shining examples of James’s character has to be the devotion he has shown towards his family and being a good father. His relationship with his mother as a son is also inspiring, given the hardships he grew under and how he has been able to transform the lives of his family members.
James’ had his entire family courtside for his history-making game against the Oklahoma City Thunder where he became the all-time leading scorer in NBA history. At a special ceremony in his honor before the Lakers took on the Milwaukee Bucks, James spoke to the crowd at Crypto.com arena and named his all-time starting five, his family.

“On behalf of myself, but this is literally about this crew right here. This is my starting five right here. My two boys, Bronny and Bryce. My daughter, Zhuri. My mom, Gloria. My wife, Savannah. This is my starting five. I wouldn’t be able to do what I do on a day-to-day basis. I wouldn’t be able to step onto the court and show you what I can do every night if I didn’t have the support and commitment from my family to do the things that I do. James has raised two sons who are both on the trajectory of the NBA, with Bronny being able to debut as early as 2024. LeBron has already said he hopes to play with or against his son. Savannah has always supported LeBron, while Gloria raised him into the man he is today. Zhuri is the youngest addition to the family but has her own fanbase on her (now inactive) YouTube channel.

During his address to Laker fans, James also revealed how a Tikes hoop gifted to him by his mother when he was 3 years old started him on his basketball journey. Everyone knows about the two basketball-playing sons he has raised, who could carry the James name forward after LeBron retires.
Savannah James has been the constant staple of the James family, raising her 3 children despite LeBron’s demanding NBA and business schedule. The entire family supports each other and might one day be one of the most influential families in the basketball world.
